Why use the launcher
Keeps playing when minimized
Minimize it or switch windows: your character, the MU Helper and the potions keep their normal pace.
Multiple clients
Open the shortcut again (or right-click the taskbar icon โ "Nova janela do jogo") to play with more than one account.
Discord
With Discord open, your profile shows "Playing OpenMU.com.br" with your map, level and class.
Updates itself
The game always comes up to date from the server, and the launcher downloads its own new versions without you doing anything.
Built for playing
Uses the laptopโs dedicated graphics card, gives the game priority in Windows and keeps the screen from turning off.
Safe
It only opens OpenMU: outside links go to your browser. You sign in with the same username and password as always.
How to install (1 minute)

Download the installer
Click "Download for Windows". If the browser says the file "isnโt commonly downloaded", click the three dots (or the arrow) and choose "Keep".

Open the downloaded file
Windows will show a blue warning. That is normal: the launcher is new and does not have a paid Microsoft certificate yet. Click "More info"โฆ

โฆthen "Run anyway"
The launcher installs itself in a few seconds, without asking for an administrator password, and opens the game. You get an "OpenMU" shortcut on the Desktop and in the Start menu.

Sign in and play
Use the same username and password as your account. From now on just open the shortcut.
Why does this warning show up?
Windows warns about every new program that has not bought a Microsoft certificate yet. The file comes straight from our website (openmu.com.br) and is the same for everyone. The warning shows again when a new installer version comes out.

The browser game is exactly the same, with the same account. The launcher just makes it more comfortable on Windows.
