What a 20x server changes

✕Level 1 to 400 no longer takes weeks: leveling is quick and the focus moves to resets and events.
✕Experience is multiplied by 20 on every map, with no paid pack required.
✕Points-based reset: 500 points times the reset number, and stats return to the class starting values.
✕Events every day: Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle and invasions.

The OpenMU numbers

EXP 20x, max level 400, 7 classes, points-based reset and a ranking by resets. VIP plans add an experience bonus on top (+25%, +50% or +100%) but do not sell items. The full rules are in the reset guide and the events page (in Portuguese).

Frequently asked questions

What does MU Online 20x mean?

It means the experience gained per monster is multiplied by 20 compared with the original server. On OpenMU the EXP rate is 20x.

Is the reset cumulative or points-based?

OpenMU uses a points-based reset: you get 500 points times the reset number, and your stats return to the class starting values.

What is the max level?

The max level is 400 and a reset returns the character to level 10. VIP players can reset earlier, from level 350.

Do I need to download the client?

No. OpenMU runs in the browser on PC, Mac, Linux, iPhone and Android.
