How to make money with MU Online: affiliate guide

The OpenMU affiliate program pays 20% in cash of every VIP purchase made by the players you refer, forever. It is not a sign-up bonus: as long as your referral keeps buying, you keep receiving. This guide shows the step by step, from the link to the PIX in your account.

Note: the program pays through PIX, a Brazilian payment system. You need a PIX key to withdraw.

Step 1: have an account

You need an OpenMU account. If you do not have one yet, create yours for free (it takes 1 minute and you also get 5 days of VIP as a gift).

Step 2: get your link and your code

Sign in and open the Affiliates page. Your link and your code are ready instantly, with no form:

• Link: openmu.com.br/r/YOURCODE. Whoever clicks goes straight to sign-up, with the code already filled in.
• Code: to pass along by word of mouth or type into the "Referral code" field at sign-up.

Step 3: spread the word

Send the link to friends, WhatsApp and Discord groups, on your YouTube or TikTok channel, in the comments of MU videos. The more new players come in through your link, the bigger your base.

Whoever creates the account through the link, or types the code at sign-up, is tied to you forever. The tie is recorded at account creation and does not change afterward.

Step 4: follow it in the dashboard

On the Affiliates page you see, in real time:

• Who signed up with your link (the login appears partly hidden, to protect the player's account);
• Each purchase by your referrals, the amount, your commission and its status;
• Your balance, split into waiting period, available, withdrawal in progress and already received.

Step 5: how the commission is released

Each approved VIP purchase generates a 20% commission of the amount paid, with status "Waiting period". 14 days after the purchase, the system checks again that the payment is still valid and the commission becomes "Available".

If the purchase is refunded or disputed in that period, the matching commission is cancelled. That is what the 14-day period is for.

Step 6: register your PIX and withdraw

1. On the Affiliates page, fill in key type, PIX key and the holder's full name (CPF, email, phone or random key).
2. When your available balance reaches R$ 20.00, click Withdraw via PIX.
3. Payment is made within 2 business days and the withdrawal shows as "Paid" in your dashboard.

The PIX key must belong to the affiliate. The holder's name is checked before each payment.

Since the commission is forever, every loyal player you bring becomes income that repeats. That is what sets this program apart from a simple referral bonus.

Important rules

• The commission applies to new accounts, created with your link or code.
• Referring yourself (same account, same email or same IP), creating fake accounts or arranging purchases to generate commission earns no payment and may lead to commission cancellation and a ban.
• Suspicious commissions stay under review until the team decides.
• The team may change the percentage and rules for future purchases, with notice in the news. Commissions already generated are not changed.

Is the commission only on the referral's first purchase?

No. It is on all of their VIP purchases, always.

What if my referral buys nothing?

You earn nothing from them, but you lose nothing either. The commission only exists when there is a paid purchase.

How long until I get paid?

The commission is released 14 days after the purchase; after a withdrawal request, the PIX goes out within 2 business days.

Can I have more than one link?

Each account has one code. To promote in different places, use the same link: what matters is who signs up with it.
