How reset works on OpenMU (normal and VIP)

Reset is what makes your character stronger and stronger: when you reach the required max level, it goes back to level 10 but earns extra points to distribute. The more resets, the more points.

Reset in game: the /reset command

Once you reach the required level, type in the game chat:

/reset

After reset	Level 10, experience zeroed, stats return to the class starting values, you go to the starting town and back to the character screen

How much it costs and what it yields

The zen must be in the character's inventory, not in the vault.

Reset on the site, with VIP perks

In My account, each character shows what is missing for the next reset. VIP players reset earlier and pay less:

To reset on the site, your account must be out of the game. The result is exactly the same as /reset: level 10, starting stats, the reset points and the return to town.

Distributing the points

After the reset, use the chat commands to distribute points quickly:

Tips

• Save zen ahead of reaching the required level: the cost grows with every reset.
• Zen to spare? Spend it in the site shop: items paid only with in-game Zen, no real money.
• Plan the distribution before resetting: stats return to the starting values.
• With 20x experience, the where to level route gets faster each time, because you return to 10 much stronger.
