MU Online chat commands are typed in the game's chat box, starting with /. This list has only the commands active on OpenMU, checked on the server. Commands that exist on other servers, such as /addstr, do not work here.
Distribute points: /add
/add str 100
Replace str with the stat and 100 with the number of points:
| Stat | Command | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Strength | /add str 100 |
Melee damage and item requirements |
| Agility | /add agi 100 |
Defense, speed and item requirements |
| Vitality | /add vit 100 |
Health |
| Energy | /add ene 100 |
Mana and spell damage |
| Command | /add cmd 100 |
Dark Lord only |
- It does not work inside mini-games (Blood Castle, Devil Square, Chaos Castle).
- If you try to spend more points than you have, the command does nothing.
- To know where to put each class's points, see the build guides: Dark Knight, Fairy Elf, Dark Lord and Soul Master.
Reset: /reset and /resetinfo
| Command | What it does |
|---|---|
/resetinfo |
Shows how many resets you have, how much zen the next one costs and how many points it gives |
/reset |
Performs the reset (level 400 and the required zen in the inventory) |
The reset returns the character to level 10, resets stats to the class starting values and gives 500 points Γ the reset number. Details, costs and the VIP version (from level 350) are in the reset guide.
Talk to everyone: /post
/post Selling Soul Gem, message me privately
Sends your message to all online players, with the [POST] prefix and the character name. Use it sparingly, because everyone sees it.
Travel between maps: /move
/move Noria
Takes you to the map by name (or number). It works like the game's teleport window: each map has a minimum level and costs zen. Some real server examples:
| Command | Minimum level | Cost (zen) |
|---|---|---|
/move Lorencia |
10 | 2,000 |
/move Noria |
10 | 2,000 |
/move Devias |
20 | 2,000 |
/move Dungeon |
30 | 3,000 |
/move Atlans |
70 | 4,000 |
/move Tarkan |
140 | 8,000 |
/move Icarus |
170 | 10,000 |
The full list and the best map order for leveling are in the where to level guide. Maps with compound names are typed without a space, like LostTower or KanturuRuins1.
Level with the game closed: /offlevel
/offlevel
With MU Helper turned on, the character alive and inside a map, this command disconnects your client and keeps the character leveling on its own, using the MU Helper configuration. When you log back in, the ghost character is stopped before character selection.
Clear PK: /pkclear
/pkclear
Clears your character's PK status, charging 10,000,000 zen per player kill you accumulated. It only applies to your own character.

| Command | What it does |

/help |
Lists the commands your character can use |
/language |
Changes the language of server messages |
Tip
Commands are just text in chat: if one does not respond, check that you typed everything lowercase, with a space after the command, and that the character is not in a mini-game. No account yet? Create yours for free and try them.
